Father,

You alone are the restorer of hope. Bring us pause as we realize how many people in this city don't know you and as such constantly battle hopelessness. We lift them up to you now, Lord. Cover them. Let them have a glimpse of hope - your hope - in their lives today and throughout this week. Pour out your Spirit across this city and let those who are in despair experience you somewhere somehow this week. Use us, your imperfect church, to touch the people in our daily lives so that we might be instruments of your hope and your life. Work through us in spite of our insufficiencies and be glorified as Miami catches a glimpse of you - and finds hope.
