Lord,

Make us your willing servants. Give us a moment away from distractions, and let us each draw near to you. Prepare our hearts and make them fertile ground for your Spirit to dwell and guide us. Father, so many of us are guilty of filling our days with things and obligations that draw our attention away from you and your kingdom at work. Grant us a taste of you, Lord, and let us know you are good. Lord let us be ever aware of your goodness and never ending mercy so that we would become dependent on you and ready to be willing servants in the work of your kingdom. We pray that the world would see this city and see your church and your kingdom alive and active. Father be glorified in this place - in this city.
