Prayer for Comfort

Father,

Pour your Spirit out across this city. Work through your people - your church - to encourage, strengthen, build up, comfort, and aid the many people in Miami who are facing economic hardship. Let us be a blessing to our neighbors, our co-workers, and strangers who we encounter during the day. Let us be that bright moment in their day, or that uplifting word, or understanding ear and be strengthened by the knowledge that you alone are God - our creator and provider - and that you are bigger than any hardship we face. Let us be filled with your love and let that love be spread throughout this city during these uncertain times. Be glorified!
