Our creator Father in Heaven,Thank you for revealing who you are through your son Jesus of Nazareth, and setting the world to right.I pray for a creative, missional imagination for your body here in the city of Miami. Help us, the Church, to forget about ourselves. To not solely focus on how to have a better church, increase our numbers, or gain cultural and social respect. Instead, to construct our lives and ministry around you and be pro-creators with you. Help us lead the way into fresh, new incarnated expressions of your Gospel.Help us to turn towards our neighborhoods and communities. To listen first to what is happening among people and learn to ask new questions. Instead of “How do we attract people to what we are doing?” let us instead ask “What is God up to in the lives of our neighbors.” Help us see how you desire to meet the needs of our community who no longer considers church a part of their lives.I pray that we would be creative. That we would act corporately. That we would go outside our comfort zones, and see the world with your imagination.Allow us, Father, to give more creatively of ourselves, as you have given to us.
