Prayer for Gratitude

Dear Lord,Today is another opportunity for us to choose to see You in everything, to know that regardless of the situation we face, we can thank You in it. We thank You FOR Miami - her beauty, her people, her productivity and we thank You IN Miami - the dark places, the wrong choices, the idle pursuits. We activate our faith to thank you in the midst of these things, trusting that you have a plan more magnificent than we can see. Our part is to acknowledge you as the Most High and continue to pray that your light and truth would illuminate. For that, we give thanks. For that, we have hope. For that, we expect You to move and do the incredible work a God who loves can do in Miami. Thank You for allowing us to be a part of your work here, especially in how we might pray for Your kingdom to come. In Jesus' name, Amen.
