Prayer for Your City

Jesus,Miami is Your city.  It's not governed by materialism or poverty or drugs or wealth or super-stardom or lust - it's governed by Your Spirit.  Your kingdom is here.  My we live as children of Your kingdom.Will you renew our churches, O Lord?  Will you restore our broken lives, O Lord?  Will you reconcile our relationships, O Lord?  Will you respond when we call You, O Lord?  We need you.We ask for Your Body here in Miami to be stirred by Your Spirit.  Pour out Your love on Miami.  Put new dreams & visions in our minds and hearts.  Help us to see Your presence & reality in Miami.As You were broken and poured out for the world, may we be broken and poured out for Miami.Amen.Psalm 85:6-96 Will you not revive us again,that your people may rejoice in you?7 Show us your unfailing love, O LORD,and grant us your salvation.8 I will listen to what God the LORD will say;he promises peace to his people, his saints—but let them not return to folly.9 Surely his salvation is near those who fear him,that his glory may dwell in our land.
