Prayer for the Dreamers

Father,We lift up the dreamers - those to whom you have given a vision and a dream for Miami.  May your Spirit and your Word test and purify those dreams like a fire.  Burn away anything that would distract your bride - your Church in Miami - from you.  Smash anything that would turn her face from you.  In your Mercy, Father, we ask that you would also encourage and strengthen those to whom you have genuinely burdened with a hope and vision for this city of Miami.  Let your Spirit fill them and guide them.  Use them to guide your Church in Miami into the places where your redemptive love will bring renewal and rebirth.  Use them to guide your Church in Miami into lives of humility, love, generosity, and mercy.  Use them to infect your Church in Miami with hope, excitement, passion, faithfulness and obedience.  Father, we are so thankful that you love the people of Miami and that you are bringing to life your dream for this city and that you chose to make us - your Church - a part of that dream.Gratefully in the Grace and Power of Christ we pray.So be it.
