Prayer for Your Touch

Oh Lord, our Lord, Miami's Lord,You are the Most High, the Most Sovereign, the Most Gracious, the Most Benevolent, the Most Powerful, the Most Almighty. You are capable of things we can only dream of seeing happen in our city because you are capable of invisible things we cannot even dream. Oh that You would bend Miami's knee to You. Oh that You would turn her heart toward You. Oh that You would find her, weeping... face down in repentance. And oh that You would place Your hands on her cheeks, and lift her head so that she gazes into Your eyes of forgiveness and hope. You have plans for Miami. Plans to prosper our city and not to harm it. We have done that ourselves. Forgive us for being part of rejecting and ignoring your invitations to salvation and peace. Replace our ungratefulness with thanksgiving and praise. Remove our insecurities and fill us with confidence. For You are our God. You are our strength. You are our hope. You are our salvation. We trust You and we seek You. In Jesus' Name.
